Im planning to go on holiday in the beginning of july, and im not sure what part of spain to go to. Im 16 years old and im going with my mum so we want to go somewhere for the heat and beaches. Any ideas ?

i lived in spain for a month if you're lookin for a city type feel like NY, head to madrid, A warm california style would be Barcelona. Just giving you a heads up, they speak catalon in barcelona though which is similar but not spanish. As a fluent spanish speaker i can not understand catalon very well, only pick out words
