Question by Em: What to tell a nosy boss when going into work late for a job interview at a different place?

I know somebody who has to go into work late because she has an interview at another job. Her and her boss are close, and her boss is very nosy. She hates lying, but telling the truth is pretty much out of the question, because her boss is very untrustworthy. What should she tell her boss she is going in late for?

A doctor's appointment....and TECHNICALLY the boss can't ask why she went to the doctor, but just say you've been having recurrent headaches.
