I bought a ps2 in pakistan and bought a bunch of games from there too. (i am aware that my ps2 is modded etc) but will ps2 games that r bought in australia work in my ps2?

They should because the PAL system covers Asia, Africa, South America, Australia, New Zealand, and most of Western Europe, as opposed to the NTSC which covers the USA.
