Im interested in buying a cpu. In order to get the best performance out of the latest pc games what should I look at when shopping for a processor? Should I buy on with more GHz? a larger bus? or what? I have very minimal knowledge of what a cpu is and used for. I know that other factors take into account as to the performance of the game such as ram, but please stick to answerering my question regarding cpu.

You should look for the intel E8400. It's a core 2 duo, and it's fantastic.
