Question by kurtisnagey: How do I replace built-in sound card with a different sound card?
My sound card on the motherboard went bad and I wanted to know if I could just buy a new sound card and install that and if so how would I disable the one on the motherboard? Also how do you install the new sound card?

You should not need to disable the other sound card if it is broken. As for installing a new one in a desktop go here :http://www.ehow.com/how_5569_install-sound-card.html
