Question by Victor: How do mobile phone plans work in australia?
Hi i will be moving to the OZ in about a month or so and i have been looking into getting a mobile. The plans are very different to what i am used to. I see that they use caps, and the price of mobiles can be charged over the month instead of buying it in full. Also i would like to get a a monthly plan. Do they do any sort of credit check? How is the provider 3? Thanks all

3 is alright....i love virgin mobile though its really cheap....you can either do a plan....you a normally locked in for 24 months though or you can do prepaid which is where you go and buy a bulk amount of credit and when that runs out fill it up again....on prepaid their are locked in contracts.

telstra
virgin
