Accidently knocked over BenQ CP220 projector, everything is running fine except for a large grey bar that spans the middle of the screen horizontally. There are white dots scattered throughout the grey bar. The image being projected is still somewhat visible beneath the grey bar. Suggestions?

I'm just guessing here, but you might have broken the lamp in your projector.
4 years ago your projector cost $ 1,400. Now and days with the ridiculously large advancements in picture quality and huge price reductions, it's probably worth about maybe $ 100 with a new blub in it if your lucky . I wouldn't even buy a projector from 2006 that cost $ 10,000 for $ 500. I can get one that will be 3 times better at around $ 2,000.
The replacement lamp alone costs about $ 150+.
Personally, I recommend you buy a new projector for $ 600-1,000+.
