Question by Srikanth T: Graphics Card?
I have a Intel(R) 82845G/GL/GE/PE/GV Graphics Controller)in my computer. I heard that if you graphics card can't support it, the resolution will be bad and the icons size will be huge. Neither will you be able to set it in a higher resolution. I used the windows vista upgrade advisor and it said windows vista home basic is my best bet, however it didn't have any information on my graphics card. So, I was wondering if you guys can help on the decision of installing windows vista home basic only. Could my graphics card handle the cheapest version of vista etleast. If so , can anyone send me some direct links to drivers i can use for vista or anything else that i'm apparently missing...

Note: I do not have the money to buy a new graphics card cause i bought windows vista home basic. Should i install it...

thx alot

In my opinion, I wouldnt waste your time on windows Vista. Its the newest with all the biggest and lated quirks, but you will receive no benefit from it. You would probably be fine with the home version. But dont expect it to run completely smooth.
