i have nokia phone and messages icon disappers from my menu, how can i return it back

i don't want to reset my phone to factory settings and if that the only solution how can i save my contacts and messages.

i dont know how did you do that, but to turning back, the best way is restart factory, you can find it in setting, but before, try to get a backup
