Question by as a: How come when I import a hd video on windows movie maker it will respond with invalid codec?
Invalid codec or windows movie maker does not support this file. Can someone tell me how to import hd videos to windows movie maker. I got the hd videos from youtube using a youtube downloader hd.

I think movie maker is not designed to handle HD video try some other software or convert the HD video into a non-HD one..if you are looking to buy a HD video editor ..think about Premier Pro or Avid..or Final Cut Pro..but these are pretty expensive or you can check this http://www.download.com/Corel-VideoStudio-Pro/3000-13631_4-10029706.html?tag=mncol....its a 30 day trial
