Question by LIORA Reincarnationist: What causes the radio in a clock radio to come on by itself?
I use the alarm every day but never the radio. It's never set on "radio."
It's happened when I'm in the room, so I know nothing / no one has disturbed the clock radio before it pops on. It just sits there quietly for hours and then suddenly comes on by itself.
When the radio pops on, it's at totally random times which are never in sync with the programmed alarm time.

You probably have a bad radio. If the times are at random you need to take it back to the store. :)
