What are some ways to determine which of the two above is the cause of a horrible odour from the nose/mouth.
I have had a horrible odour in my nose for 2 years. Ive had sinus infections but used antibiotics. So maybe atrophic rhinitis or chronic sinus infection.
What are some ways to tell? Also, the smell is also evident when I swallow mucus and it expels from my mouth.

The only way your going to find that out is by going to an ear, nose and throat specialist. He or she will determine what it is and what the best course of action to take. Feel better!
