Question by freemusic1988: My external Sound card with my laptop causes speakers to make a snapping sound?
I have an Xfi external sound card and when I plug it in my speakers make a snapping noise. When I unplug my laptop and run it off of battery power the noise goes away, but as soon as I plug it back in the noise returns. Any one know how to fix this?? I can't always run off of battery power. And oh, I am running a gateway 7410gx. Thanks!

The power activates the Crocodiles inside the laptop..
Either that or the external sound card isn't quite interference your system..
I'd cry or buy some meat for the crocodiles...if that doesn't work then maybe get another cheap external sound card?
